This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was acquired by the seller’s father in 1995 and underwent a cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment in 2012. The car is powered by a 327ci L75 V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in white with a black soft top. Equipment includes 15″ steel wheels, faux knock-off wheel covers, flip-up headlamps, chrome bumperettes, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, an AM/FM radio, a cabin heater, and bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl upholstery. This C2 convertible is now offered with a Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.

The fiberglass body left the factory finished in Ermine White (936) and was repainted with the current lacquer finish circa 2012. Details include a replacement black convertible top as well as flip-up headlamps, fender vents, quad tail lamps, and chrome bumperettes.

Steel 15” wheels wear faux knock-off covers and are mounted with 205/75 Hankook Kinergy ST white-stripe tires that are said to have been installed in 2023. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel drums.

The bucket seats are fitted with lap belts and black vinyl seat covers. Appointments include a heater, an AM/FM radio, replacement carpets, and an analog clock.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, amperage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 55k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.

The 327ci L75 V8 was rated at 300 horsepower when new, and it is equipped with a polished air cleaner and ignition cover. The engine is said to have been overhauled during the 2012 refurbishment.

A photo of the engine pad stamp is provided in the gallery.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.

Decoding the trim tag reveals:

  • I07 – May 7 build date
  • Style 64 867 – 1964 Corvette convertible
  • Body S9352 – St. Louis body number
  • Trim STD – Black vinyl upholstery
  • Paint 936 – Ermine White

The current Pennsylvania title bears an Antique Vehicle brand.
