This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was refurbished circa 2004 and is said to have remained with its prior owner for approximately four decades before the selling dealer’s acquisition in 2023. The car has been fitted with a 350ci V8 and a Tremec five-speed manual transmission, and additional work involved as refinish in yellow and a refresh of the black interior. Equipment includes a removable hardtop, a black soft top, a stinger-style hood, 15″ turbine-style wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, and a side-exit exhaust system in addition to power steering, air conditioning, and an AM/FM radio. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2023, this C2 is now offered in Texas with the removed engine and transmission, spare parts, a car cover, and a clean Michigan title.

The fiberglass body left the factory finished in Goldwood Yellow and was refinished under prior ownership in 2004. It is equipped with a body-color removable hardtop and a replacement black soft top that was reportedly sourced from Al Knoch interiors. A stinger-style hood, flip-up headlights, and a side-exit exhaust system are also fitted.

Turbine-style 15″ wheels are mounted with 205/70 Dunlop tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs. Bilstein shocks are fitted, and the master cylinder, end links, and suspension bushings have been replaced.

The cabin was refreshed under prior ownership with replacement black vinyl upholstery on the buckets seats along with replacement carpets. Appointments include Vintage Air air conditioning, an AM/FM radio, an analog clock, and lap belts.

A woodgrain-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 17k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The seller reports that the 350ci V8 crate engine was installed under prior ownership in 2004 along with a Tremec TKO five-speed manual transmission and a Centerforce clutch.
