This 1962 Chevrolet Corvette was refurbished and modified by J&M Enterprizes of Brooksville, Florida, during a process that is said to have been completed in September 2023. A Street Shop chassis with C4 Corvette–style suspension components is complemented by a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 and a four-speed automatic transmission. Finished in red over tan quilted leather, the car is also equipped with a black soft top, Holley Sniper fuel injection, exhaust headers, Schott 18″ wheels, whitewall tires, four-wheel disc brakes, an E-Stopp parking brake, power steering, power windows, air conditioning, and a Rockford Fosgate digital head unit. This modified C1 Corvette is now offered in California on dealer consignment with refurbishment photos and a clean Florida title.
Previously maroon, the car was stripped and refinished in a color described by the seller as Torch Red with matching coves during the aforementioned refurbishment. Equipment includes a black soft top, a driver-side mirror, quad headlights, round taillights, dual exhaust outlets, and polished bumpers and trim.
Schott Performance Wheels 18″ forged billet-aluminum wheels have spinner-style center caps and are mounted 235/40 Sumitomo HTR Z5 tires with white sidewalls. The car is underpinned by a Street Shop chassis and C4 Corvette suspension components as well as adjustable coilovers. Disc brakes with red calipers and drilled and slotted rotors are positioned at all four corners. The car also has an E-Stopp electric parking brake and power steering.
The bucket seats are upholstered in quilted tan leather that reportedly was supplied by Al Knoch Interiors. Other appointments include Vintage Air climate control, power windows, lap belts, black carpeting, bright doorsill plates, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, and a Rockford Fosgate digital head unit.
A Billet Specialities steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,700-rpm redline as well as gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, battery voltage, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows less than 100 miles, and true mileage is unknown.
The 6.2-liter LS3 V8 is said to be a 430-horsepower crate engine that was installed in 2022. Equipment includes Holley Sniper fuel injection, an aluminum radiator, an electric auxiliary cooling fan, and exhaust headers.
Power is sent to the wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a Dana 36 rear end with 3.07:1 gearing.
