This 1972 Mercedes-Benz 350SL is said to have been acquired by the seller’s father from its original owner in 1974. The car is finished in blue over blue leather upholstery, and it reportedly underwent a cosmetic refurbishment around 2017 that involved repainting the body and retrimming the interior. Equipment includes 14″ steel wheels with painted covers as well as a blue convertible soft top, a removable hardtop, four-wheel disc brakes, a Becker AM/FM radio, and a heater. Power comes from a 4.5-liter V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. This R107 shows 146k miles and is offered with recent service records and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car left the factory finished in Gray Blue Metallic and is said to have been repainted in its current shade of blue in 2017. The soft top was replaced the following year according to the seller. Exterior features include a body-color removable hardtop, polished aluminum trim, fog lights, and chrome bumpers. The left turn signal does not work.
Steel 14″ wheels wear blue covers and are mounted with Lionheart tires measuring 205/70. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel power-assisted disc brakes. The brakes are said to have been serviced in 2023.
According to the seller, the seats were reupholstered in 2018 and the dashboard was retrimmed in 2019. The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in blue leather upholstery along with matching treatments for the door panels. Amenities include seat headrests, manual wind-up windows, and a heater. The air conditioning system does not work and the driver’s armrest is loose.

The 4.5-liter V8 sends power to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. The water pump and fuel injectors were replaced in 2023 according to the seller. The cold start valve does not work and the seller notes a leak from the transmission.
