This 1968 Plymouth GTX is one of 36 convertible examples produced for 1968 equipped with a 426ci Hemi V8, and power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. The car was refurbished in the early 2000s, and it has been refinished in green and fitted with a replacement black soft top. Additional details include white side stripes, 15″ chromed steel road wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, and power steering. The interior houses front bucket front seats trimmed in two-tone green as well as a center console, a tachometer, an AM radio, and a cabin heater. This GTX was purchased by the current owner in 2022 and is now offered with a California title.

The car left the factory finished in Forest Green (G) and was repainted as part of the refurbishment in the early 2000s. Features include a replacement power-operated black soft top, quad headlights, chrome bumpers, white side stripes, and GTX badging. Bubbling paint is noted on the lower portion of the right door and the hood.

The 15″ chromed steel road wheels are mounted with 235/75 BFGoodrich redline tires. The car is equipped with power-assisted front disc brakes and power steering.

The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in two-tone green vinyl, and woodgrain trim accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Interior equipment include lap belts, manually operated windows, an AM radio, and a cabin heater.

The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 150-mph speedometer, an optional 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 71k miles.

The 426ci Hemi V8 was equipped from the factory with twin four-barrel carburetors for a rating of 425 horsepower and 490 lb-ft of torque. M/T-branded valve covers and a Moroso oil pan are fitted. The seller notes that a replacement camshaft is also installed.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TorqueFlite three-speed automatic transmission.
