This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was initially sold by Casey Chevrolet in Newport News, Virginia, and is said to have remained with its first owner for approximately three decades before a refurbishment between 2017 and 2018. Power is provided by a 327ci L79 V8 backed by a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction differential, and the car has been refinished in red. Equipment includes a body-color removable hardtop, a black soft top, 15″ turbine-style wheels, and a side-exit exhaust system as well as a push-button AM/FM radio and black vinyl upholstery. This C2 was acquired by the selling dealer in 2022 and is now offered with a Protect-O-Plate, the owner’s manual, and a clean Pennsylvania title.
The fiberglass body was delivered from the factory in Ermine White and has been refinished in red. Exterior features include a body-color removable hardtop, a black soft top, and a side-exit exhaust system with heat shields.
Turbine-style 15″ wheels are mounted with redline tires. The car features a fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
The cabin was refreshed under prior ownership, reportedly with components sourced from Al Knoch Interiors. The bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl, and appointments include a heater, a vertical push-button AM/FM radio, an analog clock, and lap belts.
The woodgrain-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 9k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 327ci L79 V8 is equipped with a single four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 350 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque.
The engine stamping is shown above. The HT suffix corresponds with a 350-horsepower, 327ci L79 V8 for use with a manual transmission.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction differential.
