This 2014 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 convertible is a red-over-black example that has spent much of its life in Florida and now has 10k miles. Recently acquired by the selling dealer, the car is powered by a supercharged 5.8-liter Trinity V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a Torsen limited-slip differential, a carbon-fiber driveshaft, 19″ and 20″ forged alloy wheels, Brembo disc brakes, a black soft top, HID headlights, a Shaker Pro sound system, and leather-upholstered sport bucket seats. This Shelby GT500 convertible is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
The car is finished in Torch Red and was optioned with a racing stripe delete. Exterior details include a power-retractable black soft top, HID headlights, fog lights, hood vents, a rear spoiler, Shelby badging, and polished exhaust outlets. Blemishes on the front bumper cover and windshield are visible in close-up photos in the gallery below.
Staggered-diameter 19″ and 20″ forged alloy wheels are mounted with Nitto ST555 G2 tires measuring 275/40 up front and 305/35 out back. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with Brembo front calipers, and the car is equipped with an SVT-tuned suspension.
The cabin features sport bucket seats upholstered in Charcoal Black leather with black stripes and embossed Shelby Cobra logos on the backrests. Equipment includes a Shaker sound system, navigation, a CD stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning.
The leather- and microsuede-wrapped steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 10k miles.
The supercharged 5.8-liter Trinity V8 was factory rated at 662 horsepower and 631 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential.
Manufacturer’s literature and GT500-branded floor mats are included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Florida and Pennsylvania.
