This 1999 Porsche Boxster is powered by a 2.5-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in black over black full supple leather. Features include the SportTechnic Package, Aerokit bodywork, a black soft top, a sports chassis, and 17″ twist-spoke wheels along with power-adjustable seats, a Hi-Fi sound system, a six-disc CD changer, and traction control. The car was acquired by the seller on BaT in October 2023, and subsequent work included replacing the driver’s airbag, passenger seatbelt buckle, water pump, drive belt, fuel filter, spark plugs, air filters, and tires. This 986 Boxster has 54k miles and is offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, a workshop manual, service records, a Blackstone oil report, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in black with a black soft top and was ordered with Aerokit bodywork consisting of a unique front air dam, fixed rear spoiler, and side skirts. Additional features include side air intakes, roll hoops, and a single center exhaust outlet. The front air dam has scrapes on the lower section and a ding is noted on the left quarter panel. The removable hardtop optioned at purchase is not included in the sale.

The 17” Carrera-look twist-spoke wheels are mounted with 205/50 front and 255/40 rear Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 tires that were fitted in 2023. The car was optioned with Traction control, an automatic braking differential (ABD), and an 030 sports chassis that lowered the ride height by 10mm. Braking is handled by four-piston Porsche-branded calipers fitted over vented rotors at all four corners.

The cabin features power-adjustable seats upholstered in black supple leather that extends to the dashboard and door panels. Features include a carbon-fiber-trimmed shifter, handbrake handle, and door sill guards as well as a Hi-Fi sound system, an onboard computer, a CD stereo, a remote six-disc CD changer, automatic climate control, and driver’s seat memory settings. The left seatbelt buckle was replaced in 2023 and the right seatbelt buckle was replaced in 2024. The driver’s seat outer bolster is worn and the left door sill carbon trim is cracked.

The leather- and carbon-fiber-rimmed steering wheel fronts a central tachometer, a 160-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 54k miles, approximately 400 of which were added under current ownership. The driver’s airbag was replaced in 2024.

The mid-mounted 2.5-liter M96 flat-six was factory rated at 201 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. Work in March 2024 included performing an oil change and replacing the water pump, drive belt, fuel filter, spark plugs, and cabin air and engine air filters.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The transmission fluid was flushed in 2024.
