This 2007 Cadillac XLR is #194 of 250 Passion Red Limited Edition units produced for the model year, and this example spent time in Florida, Ohio, Illinois, and North Carolina before it was acquired by the selling dealer on BaT in May 2024. Now indicating 38k miles, the car is finished in Passion Red over Ebony leather upholstery. Power is provided by a 4.6-liter Northstar V8 paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, and equipment includes a power-retractable hardtop, xenon headlights, rear parking sensors, Magnetic Ride Control, 18″ seven-spoke wheels, Driver Shift Control, heated and cooled seats, a head-up display, a Bose sound system, and adaptive cruise control. This special-edition XLR is offered in Massachusetts with a clean Carfax report and a clean North Carolina title.
All Passion Red Limited Edition examples were finished in that color, and this example features a power-retractable hardtop and adaptive xenon headlights with washers as well as fog lights, rear parking sensors, LED taillights, and quad polished exhaust finishers. Photos show chips in the finish on the front bumper cover.
Chrome-finished 18″ seven-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 235/50 Goodyear Eagle All Season tires. The four-wheel independent suspension features Magnetic Ride Control, and the car is equipped with speed-sensitive power steering in addition to traction and stability control systems. Suspension work is noted in a July 2016 entry on the Carfax report.
The heated, cooled, and power-adjustable seats are upholstered in Ebony leather, while woodgrain trim accents the color-coordinated center stack and door panels. Appointments include dual-zone automatic climate control, adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, a Bose sound system, a six-disc CD changer, navigation, keyless access, and push-button ignition.
The XLR-branded door sill guards denote this example as #194 of 250 examples produced in the Passion Red Limited Edition.
The leather- and wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Bulgari-branded instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 38k miles.
The 4.6-liter Northstar V8 produced 320 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission with Driver Shift Control.
