This 2004 Porsche 911 Turbo cabriolet remained registered in Colorado until it was acquired by the seller in 2022, and it was specified new with the X50 Turbo Power Kit and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB). Finished in Seal Grey Metallic over black full leather upholstery, the car is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six that drives all four wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle. H&R lowering springs, Bilstein shock absorbers, and Fabspeed exhaust components have been added, and additional equipment consists of a power-operated black soft top, xenon headlights, integrated fog lights, 18″ Turbo Twist wheels, a carbon-fiber and aluminum-trimmed shifter, Bose audio, and automatic climate control. This 996 Turbo cabriolet is now offered by the seller with an owner’s manual, two keys, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a Florida title.
The 996 Turbo features wider rear bodywork, rear air intakes, and revised bumper covers in comparison to the contemporary Carrera, and this example is finished Seal Grey Metallic (6B4) with a black convertible soft top. The original hard top can be included in the sale with shipping arranged. Additional features include xenon headlights, fog lights, clear front corner markers, Turbo S rear badging, and polished aftermarket exhaust outlets. Imperfections are noted on the soft top, there is a chip in the windshield, and the seller states that the automatic function for the rear spoiler is inoperative.
The 18″ Turbo Twist wheels are mounted with 225/40 front and 295/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that were installed in September 2022 and are said to have less than 2k miles of wear. Braking is handled by optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) featuring yellow-painted six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers. Bilstein dampers and H&R lowering springs were installed in September 2022.
The cabin features power-adjustable front seats upholstered in black leather that extends to the dashboard and door panels. Additional appointments consist of an optional carbon-fiber and aluminum-trimmed shifter, driver-seat memory settings, Porsche crests on the front headrests, a wind deflector, Porsche-branded floor mats, a CD stereo, a Bose sound system, a remote six-disc CD changer, and automatic climate control.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a central tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 75k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged 3.6L Mezger flat-six was factory equipped with the X50 Turbo Power Kit, which included revised engine management software and larger turbochargers and intercoolers for a factory rating of 444 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque. The fuel pump and battery were replaced in 2023, and the oil was most recently changed in August 2024. The starter was replaced in February 2024, while the alternator was replaced and the oil was changed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. The clutch accumulator and slave cylinder were replaced between 2010 and 2011, the front differential was reportedly replaced in 2012, and a replacement rear main seal and clutch were installed in February 2024. Fabspeed exhaust components have been fitted, and additional photos of the underside are viewable in the gallery below.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
There is currently a lien out on the title to the car, and the seller’s lender will need to be repaid before the title can be transferred to a new owner.
