This 2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS convertible is one of a limited number of cars produced for track support duties at the 2002 Brickyard 400. It has 4,300 miles following registration history in the Indiana. Finished in Sebring Silver Metallic over Ebony leather, the car is powered by a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Features include a limited-slip differential, a black convertible soft top, 17″ 35th Anniversary Edition wheels, a rear spoiler, a hood scoop, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a CD stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning. This fourth-generation Camaro SS is now offered by the selling dealer with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, service records, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Indiana title.

The 2002 model year marked the final year of production for the fourth-generation Camaro, and this example is finished in Sebring Silver Metallic with Michael Waltrip lettering on the hood. Exterior details include a forced air-induction hood, an SS-specific rear spoiler, fog lights, and dual exhaust outlets. Additional equipment includes a black convertible soft top, SS badges, and fog lights. Up-close photos of damage on the Brickyard 400 side graphics are presented in the gallery.

The 17″ 35th Anniversary Edition wheels are mounted with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. Factory options include the Performance Handling Package as well as Acceleration Slip Regulation, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock ventilated disc brakes.

The seats are upholstered in Ebony leather and interior equipment includes a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a CD stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 155-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 4,300 miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 is equipped with a forced-air induction system and was factory rated at 325 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. The oil was changed in October 2023.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential.

The window sticker features a Michael Waltrip signature and lists initial delivery to the Chevrolet North Central Region in Naperville, Illinois, along with factory equipment, colors, and a total price of $35,750. Assorted memorabilia and a car cover are also included in the sale.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
