This 1975 Chevrolet Corvette is one of 4,629 examples manufactured for the third-generation convertible’s final year of production. The seller’s spouse inherited the car in 2009 from their brother, who is said to have purchased it in the late 1970s or in the 1980s. The car is finished in blue over dark blue vinyl and is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a Positraction differential, a white convertible soft top, a removable hardtop, 15″ Rally steel wheels, a cassette stereo, power windows, and air conditioning. This C3 Corvette convertible is now offered in North Carolina with a convertible top boot and a clean Georgia title in the seller’s spouse’s name.
The car is finished in blue and is equipped with a white convertible soft top, a removable hardtop, pop-up headlights, a rear luggage rack, and a power antenna. There are stains on the top of the soft top and dents in the bumper cover in front of the left headlight.
Polished 15″ Rally steel wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires measuring 255/60. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs, and the brake master cylinder and booster were replaced were replaced in 2016. A brake fluid flush was completed in February 2023.
The bucket seats are upholstered in dark blue vinyl, and interior equipment includes a tilting and telescoping steering column as well as a Craig AM/FM/cassette stereo, power windows, air conditioning, and a heater. The clock does not work. Wear on interior surfaces is shown in the gallery.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,300-rpm redline. An analog clock and auxiliary gauges are mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows just under 100k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership.
The 350ci V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 165 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque. The fuel pump and spark plugs were replaced in February 2023.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission and a Positraction differential. The seller states that the exhaust system needs to be replaced.
