This 1999 Mercedes-Benz SL500 was initially sold in California and has remained registered in the state through the seller’s July 2022 purchase, and it has 38k miles. It is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Magma Red over Black Nappa leather. Equipment includes a removable hardtop, a black soft top, chrome-finished 18″ AMG Monoblock wheels, xenon headlights, fog lights, heated power-adjustable seats, a CD stereo, a Bose sound system, a remote six-disc CD changer, and automatic climate control. This R129 is now offered with the owner’s manual, a car cover, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Magma Red (586) and features a matching removable hardtop as well as a black soft top. Additional exterior equipment includes xenon headlights, fog lights, and fender air vents. The seller states that the soft-top hydraulic cylinders were replaced in 2022. The Carfax report notes damage in a May 2022 entry, which resulted in the bumper covers being refinished.

The 18″ AMG Monoblock wheels wear a chrome finish and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.

The heated power-adjustable seats are upholstered in Black Nappa leather, and burl wood accents the doors and center stack. Amenities include a deployable roll bar, seat position memory, a CD stereo, a Bose sound system, a remote six-disc CD changer, a heated rear hardtop window, cruise control, and automatic climate control.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, fuel economy, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 38k miles, approximately 2k miles of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.0-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. A fluids service was performed and the hood insulation pad replaced in preparation for the sale.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage.
