This 1969 Intermeccanica Italia is one of approximately 400 examples produced between 1966 and 1973 and underwent a multi-year refurbishment by Intermeccanica International of British Columbia completed in 2019. Work involved body repairs, a repaint, an interior re-trim, rebuilds of the engine and transmission, and overhauls of the brakes and suspension. The car was acquired by the seller after being listed on BaT in August 2021 and was subsequently fitted with 14″ Borrani wire wheels. Finished in metallic blue, the car features covered Lucas headlights, electric windows, a blue soft top, and a dual exhaust system with quad polished outlets. Inside, the tan leather–trimmed seats are accompanied by a Moto-Lita steering wheel, a Hurst shifter, and a Becker AM/FM radio. Power is supplied by a 302ci Ford V8 equipped with a Carter/Weber carburetor, while shifting is through a four-speed manual gearbox. This Italia is now offered with correspondence from Intermeccanica International, build photos, a convertible top boot, and Ontario registration in the seller’s name.
The car underwent a bare-metal repaint in metallic blue following repairs completed by RWM and Co. of British Columbia to address body and suspension damage to the front-left corner. It wears a blue convertible top with a matching top boot, and further details include covered Lucas P-7 headlights, bullet-style side mirrors, wraparound bumpers, and quad exhaust outlets.
Polished 14″ Borrani wire wheels secured by three-eared knock-offs were added under current ownership. They are wrapped in 195/75 Kumho Solus TA11 tires. The car features an independent front suspension, a live rear axle with trailing arms and a Panhard rod, and sway bars at both ends. The power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes were overhauled and various suspension components were finished in black as part of the refurbishment.
The refurbished interior houses bucket seats covered in tan leather, which extends to the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Black carpets line the floors, and further details include a Becker Europa TR AM/FM radio, a heater, electric windows, and three-point seatbelts.
The wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel is paired with a Hurst shifter. Jaeger instrumentation includes an Intermeccanica-branded tachometer and 180-mph speedometer along with auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 48k miles, approximately 5k of which have been added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The 302ci Ford V8 was rebuilt and fitted with roller rockers in 2019 by High-Performance Engines of Burnaby, British Columbia. Work under current ownership is noted to have involved installing a replacement air cleaner and fuel pump as well as performing a tune-up.
The four-speed manual gearbox was rebuilt circa 2019 by Bert’s Automotive of Vancouver, British Columbia. The car is further equipped with a dual exhaust system.

The vehicle does not have a title and is being sold on its Ontario registration, which serves as the ownership document in Ontario, Canada.
