This 2004 Chevrolet SSR was re-painted in metallic red with painted silver hood stripes under prior ownership and is paired with Ebony leather. Power is provided by a 5.3-liter V8 linked to a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a power-folding hardtop, satin chrome running boards, wood cargo floor rub strips, a sport suspension, heated power-adjustable twin bucket seats, a Bose sound system, remote keyless entry, cruise control, and air conditioning. This SSR was purchased by the seller in May 2023, and it is now offered with a recent service invoice, a damage-free Carfax report, and a clean New Jersey title in the seller’s name.

The SSR was built on a modified version of the GMT360 platform shared with the contemporary TrailBlazer SUV, and its styling was inspired by the Chevrolet Advance Design family of trucks. This truck was re-painted in metallic red under prior ownership and features a color-matched hard shell tonneau cover, a power-retractable hardtop, and painted silver stripes on the hood. Additional equipment includes flush-mounted halogen headlights bisected by a satin-finished chevron bar as well as flush-mounted tail lights, power-operated heated side mirrors, integrated satin chrome running boards, and dual polished exhaust tips. The carpeted cargo bed is accented with wood strips.

Silver-finished 19″ front and 20″ rear five-spoke cast-aluminum wheels are mounted with older Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires that the seller recommends be replaced. The SSR was equipped from the factory with a ZQ8 sport suspension featuring an independent front and five-link solid-axle rear setup with front and rear stabilizer bars. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated disc brakes.

The twin heated and power-adjustable high-back bucket seats are upholstered in Ebony leather. Body-color wraparound trim accents the cabin, while satin chrome trim adorns the dash, center console, and door panels. Amenities include a color-keyed waterfall console as well as driver-seat memory settings, a Bose sound system, air conditioning, a wind deflector, and cruise control. The car is equipped with a CD stereo, but the CD player does not work.

The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames SSR-branded instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer shows 44k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. A mileage inconsistency is listed in a June 2021 entry of the Carfax report. The seller notes that the oil pressure gauge needs repair.

The 5.3-liter Vortec 5300 V8 was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 335 lb-ft of torque. The battery was replaced, and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. There is a black spot on a muffler.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage. The aforementioned mileage inconsistency is noted.
