This 1967 Pontiac Firebird convertible is finished in burgundy over a black interior and is powered by a 400ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission. The car is said to have remained with one family for more than three decades prior to the selling dealer’s 2024 acquisition. Equipment includes an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, a black soft top, dual hood scoops, 14″ Cragar wheels, power steering, power-assisted drum brakes, a Pioneer CD stereo, and trunk-mounted amplifiers. This Firebird is now offered by the selling dealer in New York with a clean Tennessee title.

The car was refinished in burgundy at some point under prior ownership and is equipped with quad round headlights, dual hood scoops, a door-mounted driver-side mirror, and a bright front grille, rear bumper, and trim. The black soft top operates slowly and requires service. Replacement wheelwell moldings were installed in preparation for the sale.

This is a relist after the vehicle was previously sold on BaT in July 2024 and the winning bidder failed to follow through with their commitment to purchase. This was not due to any fault with the vehicle. The winner’s participation on BaT has been restricted.

Cragar 14″ wheels are mounted with Dunlop GT Qualifier tires. Power steering is fitted, and braking is provided by power-assisted four-wheel drums. Multi-leaf rear springs have been installed along with rear air shocks.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. A Pioneer CD stereo is linked to amplifiers housed in the trunk.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge. An aftermarket tachometer is mounted on the steering column, and a trio of readouts are located ahead of the shifter. The five-digit odometer shows 96k miles, approximately 50 of which were added under current ownership.

The selling dealer notes that the 400ci V8 is equipped with a revised camshaft, a Weber carburetor, an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, an aluminum radiator, and exhaust headers. Three Sunpro readouts are mounted in the engine bay.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission.

Decoding the trim tag provides the following information:

  • 05D – Fourth week of May production
  • 67-22667 – 1967 two-door convertible
  • LOR7322  – Lordstown, Ohio, assembly; body number
  • 259 – Black vinyl upholstery
  • O-2 – Coronado Gold paint w/black top
