This 1970 Pontiac LeMans Sport convertible was purchased new by the owner from Armstrong Sales Company in South River, New Jersey, in September 1970. The body was refinished in metallic blue in 1998, and power is provided by a replacement 350ci V8 topped with an Edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor. Equipment includes a three-speed automatic transmission, a black power-operated soft top, a black top boot, power-assisted front disc brakes, and a ram air-style hood. This LeMans Sport convertible is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a build sheet, a 1970 dealer invoice, its Protect-O-Plate, service records, refurbishment photos, and a clean Maryland title in the owner’s name.

The body was refinished in metallic blue in 1998 and features a power-operated black soft top along with a matching top boot, chrome bumpers, and a driver’s side mirror. A dent is visible below the left taillight.

The 14″ steel wheels are mounted with 215/75 Goodyear Integrity front tires and older Goodyear Tiempo rear tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The car was ordered with a front split bench seat, and the front and rear benches are trimmed in black vinyl. Equipment includes a Delco AM radio, a heater, lap belts, and woodgrain dash trim.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a fuel-level gauge, and warning lamps for temperature, generator status, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 74k miles.

The car is equipped with a replacement 350ci V8 that is topped with an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and four-barrel carburetor.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.

Removed parts, documents, and service records are included in the sale along with the removed 350ci engine assembly.

The September 1970 vehicle invoice from Armstrong Sales Company indicates the car was sold new to the current owner. The build sheet and additional dealer paperwork will accompany the car.
