This 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS convertible is powered by a 283ci V8 mated to a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission, and it is refinished in red over black vinyl. Features include a manually-operated black convertible soft top, chrome bumpers, a driver-side mirror, power steering, a front and rear coil-spring suspension, 15″ Cragar S/S wheels, front bucket seats, an aftermarket stereo, and a heater. The seller acquired the car in 2019 and had the engine rebuilt in 2020. This Chevelle Malibu SS is now offered with service records and a Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.

The car was originally finished in Ermine White (C) and was repainted red under previous ownership. Equipment includes a manually-operated black convertible soft top, quad headlights, chrome bumpers, SS badging, a driver-side mirror, and dual exhaust outlets. Rust is noted on the left front fender.

The 15″ Cragar S/S wheels are mounted with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires measuring 255/60. The car is equipped with power steering and a front and rear coil-spring suspension, and stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes.

The seating surfaces are upholstered in black vinyl, and interior appointments include front bucket seats, a floor-mounted shifter, a heater, an aftermarket stereo, and rubber floor mats.

The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a combination gauge, and an array of warning lights. The five-digit odometer shows 28 miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 283ci Turbo-Fire V8 was rebuilt in 2020, which included machining the lower assembly, replacing the valve stem seals and freeze plugs, and reboring the cylinders.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission.
