This 1969 Cadillac DeVille convertible was acquired by the seller in 2017 and subsequent work consisted of overhauling the transmission and brakes, rebuilding the carburetor, and replacing the exhaust system, convertible top motor, steering gearbox, power steering pump, intake manifold gasket, oil pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, engine mounts, shocks, and front strut rod bushings. Finished in gold over beige leather upholstery, the car is powered by a 472ci V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a power-operated white convertible top, rear fender skirts, dual side mirrors, 15″ steel wheels, power front disc brakes, and power steering, while the cabin is outfitted with a power-adjustable driver’s seat, an AM radio, and power windows and door locks. This DeVille is offered with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in gold and is fitted with a power-operated white convertible top. Additional details include front cornering lights, rear fender skirts, vertical taillamps, dual side mirrors, and a chrome-finished grille, bumpers, beltline trim, and badging. The convertible top motor is said to have been replaced under current ownership. There is a rust area on the trunk and a convertible top hole has been patched.

The 15″ steel wheels wear polished covers with Cadillac crests and are wrapped in whitewall tires. The car is equipped with power steering and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The brakes are said to have been overhauled under current ownership and the steering gearbox, power steering pump, shocks, and front strut rod bushings were reportedly replaced.

The cabin features a front power-adjustable bench seat and a matching rear trimmed in beige leather. Woodgrain trim adorns the dash and door panels and further equipment includes an AM radio, and power windows and door locks. The air conditioning does not blow cold and the heater core has been bypassed.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph linear speedometer, a fuel-level gauge, and a quartz-movement clock. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 92k miles, approximately 11k of which were added during current ownership.

The 472ci V8 was factory rated at 375 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque and features a four-barrel carburetor and blue-finished valve covers. Work under current ownership is said to consist of rebuilding the carburetor and replacing the intake manifold gasket, oil pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, and engine mounts.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. A replacement exhaust system was installed and the transmission is said to have been overhauled under current ownership.

A vehicle invoice shows initial delivery to Claire Motor Company of Santa Clara, California, as well as options, colors, and a total price of $7,166.
