This 1965 Pontiac Catalina 2+2 convertible is finished in white over red vinyl upholstery and is powered by a replacement 421ci V8 paired with a three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. Equipment includes a four-barrel carburetor, a dual exhaust system, power steering, power-assisted drum brakes, a power-operated white soft top, front bucket seats, a heater, and a push-button AM radio with a rear speaker. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale. This Catalina 2+2 was purchased by the current owner in 1990, and it is now offered on dealer consignment in Alexandria, Virginia, with literature, Pontiac Historic Society documentation, and a clean Maryland title.

Delivered from the factory in Cameo White (C), the car was repainted under previous ownership. Features include chrome bumpers and trim, stacked quadruple headlights, 421 and 2+2 badges, a retractable antenna, faux fender vents, dual side-view mirrors, a power-operated white soft top, fender skirts, and a dual exhaust.

Steel wheels wear Pontiac Motor Division-branded hubcaps with faux knock-off hubs, and they are mounted with Custom whitewall radial tires. A full-size spare wheel is stowed in the trunk. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted finned drums at each corner.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in red vinyl with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes front lap belts, a heater, an AM radio, and a rear seat speaker. Corrosion is present on the trunk floor.

The two-spoke steering wheel features transparent rim segments, and it frames a 120-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, battery charge, and a clock. The five-digit odometer shows 9,500 miles, a handful of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

PHS documentation indicates that the car was one of 12 model year Pontiacs equipped at the factory with a YM-stamped, tri-power 421ci V8. The engine was replaced under previous ownership and has a YH stamp, which is consistent with a 1965 421ci V8 equipped with a four-barrel carburetor. An oil change was performed by the selling dealer in preparation for the sale. A photo of the engine stamping is provided in the gallery.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. Corrosion on the underside components can be seen in the gallery.

Pontiac Historic Society documentation includes copies of the order sheet and build card, and can be seen in the gallery.
