This 1980 Triumph TR8 convertible was purchased new from Paul Cerame Imports in Florissant, Missouri, by the seller, who has since driven the car approximately 38k miles. It is finished in Midas Gold Metallic over tan vinyl and tartan cloth, and it is powered by a 3.5-liter V8 that features dual Zenith carburetors and electronic ignition. Equipment includes a five-speed manual transmission, a stainless-steel exhaust system, a black convertible soft top, 13″ alloy wheels, front disc brakes, an AM/FM radio, and a cabin heater. The 3.5-liter Rover V8 features two Zenith carburetors and Lumenition Optronic electronic ignition. An oil change was performed in March 2024, and the spark plugs and ignition wires were changed in October 2020. A battery cut-off switch has been added, and an oil leak is noted by the seller. A hose has been added beneath the dashboard to bypass a leaky heater valve.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. A stainless-steel exhaust system without resonators has been installed. The seller notes that a Zeibart undercoating was applied when the car was new.
