This 1999 Mercedes-Benz SL500 was first registered in Pennsylvania and spent time in Texas and California before the current owner’s acquisition on BaT in March 2024, and it now has 67k miles. The car is finished in Glacier White over gray Nappa leather and is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a removable hardtop, 17″ Albali wheels, fog lights, power-adjustable seats, a Bose sound system, a remote six-disc CD changer, and automatic climate control. This R129 is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with a clean Carfax report and a clean Texas title.

The car is finished in Glacier White (143) and features a matching removable hardtop. Additional exterior equipment includes fog lights, headlight wipers, and fender air vents. The selling dealer reports the soft top hydraulic cylinders need replacement and the top is nonfunctional. The antenna assembly, headlight rims, and right mirror are said to have been replaced under current ownership. Paint chips are noted around the body, and close-up photos of the paintwork and trim are presented in the gallery.

The 17″ Albali wheels were refinished in 2024, at which time they were mounted with 245/45 Hankook Ventus V2 tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. The front brake pads and rotors were replaced in January 2024.

The power-adjustable seats are upholstered in gray Nappa leather, and burl wood accents the doors and center stack. Amenities include a deployable roll bar, seat position memory settings, a Bose sound system, a remote six-disc CD changer, a heated rear hardtop window, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The headliner and emergency brake release handle were reportedly replaced in 2024.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, fuel economy, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 67k miles, approximately 400 of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.0-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. The valve cover gaskets and breather hoses were replaced in January 2024.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
