This 2002 Panoz Esperante is finished in red metallic over tan leather upholstery and is powered by a 4.6-liter Ford DOHC V8 linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a black convertible soft top, a dual exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers, four-wheel independent suspension, 18″ TSW wheels, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, carbon-fiber trim, a Premier CD stereo, and air conditioning. The car was first registered in Colorado and later spent time in Indiana, Connecticut, and Florida before being purchased by the seller in 2013 and relocated to Ohio. This Esperante has 22k miles and is now offered with the owner’s manual, a parts list, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name.

The Esperante’s body panels are constructed of superplastic-formed aluminum and are mounted over a modular extruded-aluminum chassis with bonded and bolted steel subframes. This example is finished in PPG Red Metallic (4240) with a power-retractable black convertible top, fog lights, fender vents, and dual central exhaust outlets. The seller notes that the left-front fender was painted under previous ownership. There are scuffs on the lower front bumper cover, chips on the hood and rocker panels, and blisters in the paint on the right-front fender.

The 18″ TSW five-spoke wheels are mounted with Goodyear Eagle F1 All-Season tires measuring 245/40 up front and 275/40 out back. The car is equipped with four-wheel independent suspension featuring adjustable Penske shocks and coilover springs, and stopping power is provided by ventilated discs at each corner.

The bucket seats are upholstered in tan leather that extends to the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Cabin amenities include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, carbon-fiber interior trim, an aftermarket Premier stereo, and air conditioning. Cruise control does not work, and wear on the upholstery is shown up close in photos below.

The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts centrally mounted instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline as well as gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 22k miles, approximately 4,500 of which were added under current ownership.

The 4.6-liter DOHC Modular V8 features a carbon-fiber engine cover and MagnaFlow mufflers, and it was factory rated at 320 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. The fuel pump and filter were replaced and an oil change was performed in March 2024.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
