This 2007 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG is finished in Iridium Silver Metallic over gray leather and powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 with RENNtech ECU tuning software. The drivetrain is completed by a five-speed automatic transmission, and the car rides on Mandrus 19″ ten-spoke alloy wheels. Additional equipment includes a power-retractable hardtop, an Active Body Control suspension, bi-xenon headlights, and front and rear parking sensors as well as heated and ventilated multi-contour seats, a Bose sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and COMAND infotainment with navigation. The seller acquired the car in 2020 and subsequent work included replacing the supercharger pulley bearing, serpentine belt, battery control module, and accelerator pedal. This R230 indicates 92k miles and is now offered at no reserve with a Carfax report and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Iridium Silver Metallic (775) and features a power-folding convertible hardtop along with AMG bodywork including revised bumper covers and side skirts. Other equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, fender vents, front and rear parking sensors, a power-operated trunk lid, and quad exhaust outlets. The Carfax report contains two entries from March 2011 describing “very minor damage” to the front-left area of the car, while “minor damage” to the front of the car is noted in a May 2018 entry.

Silver-finished 19″ Mandrus ten-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact Sport02 tires that measure 255/35 up front and 285/30 out back. The car features an Active Body Control (ABC) suspension as well as an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Automatic Slip Regulation (ASR), and an AMG High Performance Braking System with cross-drilled rotors.

The heated and ventilated multi-contour seats are upholstered in gray leather that extends to portions of the door panels. Burred walnut wood trim accents the cabin, and amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, Keyless Go, a Bose sound system, and COMAND infotainment with navigation. The CD changer has been modified to add Bluetooth connectivity. The ash tray lid does not stay closed, cracks are visible on the driver’s seat upholstery, and scuffs are present on the lower portion of the driver’s door panel.

The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel carries a pair of shift paddles and frames a 200-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 92k miles, approximately 6k of which were added by the seller. Odometer readings of 42,881 and 54,321 miles are recorded in February and June 2020 entries in the Carfax report, which states that it may be the result of a “clerical error.” The accelerator pedal was replaced in December 2022.

The supercharged 5.4-liter M113 V8 has been modified with RENNtech ECU tuning software and was factory rated at 510 horsepower and 531 lb-ft of torque. Work following the seller’s acquisition is said to have included replacing the supercharger pulley bearing in May 2021 and replacing the battery control module, serpentine belt, and tensioner in April 2022. The battery was replaced in October 2023.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission.

The Carfax report contains the aforementioned damage reports and entries noting mileage inconsistencies.
