This 2002 Maserati Spyder is finished in Azzurro Argentina Metallizzato over tan leather and is powered by a 4.2-liter V8 connected to a Cambiocorsa six-speed automated transaxle. Equipment includes a dark blue retractable soft top, fog lights, cruise control, heated and power-adjustable seats, a remote CD changer, navigation, and automatic climate control. The convertible top hydraulics are said to have been overhauled in 2022, and the steering rack boots and seals were replaced in the same year, while replacement fuel pumps were fitted in March 2024. Registered in California since new, the car was acquired by the selling dealer in 2024 and now has 18k miles. The convertible top hydraulics and steering rack seals were replaced in 2022 per the selling dealer, while the fuel pump was replaced in 2024. This Spyder is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, a stamped service booklet, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.

The Maserati Spyder was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, and this example is finished in Azzurro Argentina Metallizzato. Equipment includes a power-operated dark blue soft top, fog lights, mesh front and rear grilles, and quad exhaust outlets. Fraying of the top fabric is shown up close in the image gallery below. The selling dealer notes that the convertible top hydraulics were rebuilt and seals replaced in June 2022.

The 18″ multi-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 235/40 front and 265/35 rear Michelin Super Sport tires. Braking is handled by black calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated discs at each corner. The steering rack boots and seals were replaced in 2022.

The cabin features heated and power-adjustable seats upholstered in tan leather, which extends to the lower dashboard and door panels. Amenities include a remote CD changer, navigation, cruise control, and automatic climate control.

The steering wheel sits ahead of column-mounted shift paddles and fronts a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, battery voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 18k miles, approximately 550 of which were added under current ownership.

The 90° 4.2-liter F136 DOHC V8 was jointly developed by Ferrari and Maserati and features dry-sump lubrication and a factory oil cooler for a rated output of 390 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed Cambiocorsa computer-controlled automated manual transaxle with column-mounted shift paddles. The fuel pump was replaced at Prestige Autohaus of Walnut Creek, California, in preparation for the sale, and the car passed a California emissions inspection in April 2024. The differential drain plug was re-threaded and the fluid replaced in 2022.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in California.
