The W113 SL was designed by Friedrich Geiger, Béla Barényi, and Paul Bracq and was introduced to the public at the 1963 Geneva Motor Show. This example came finished from the factory in Dark Red (542) and was repainted its current shade of red during the aforementioned refurbishment. Exterior details include a black soft top, split chrome bumpers with overriders, twin exhaust outlets, and US-specification headlights.
