This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible reportedly remained with the original owner until 2012, at which time the car was being refurbished when the owner fell ill. The cosmetic refurbishment was completed in 2014, after which it was purchased by the current owner. The 327ci V8 was rebuilt in December 2014, and the car was involved in an accident in early 2015. The body was then repaired and refinished again in Goodwood Green. Equipment includes a black soft top, retractable headlights, 15″ Rally wheels, a dual exhaust system, and four-wheel disc brakes as well as black upholstery and an AM/FM radio. This C2 convertible is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with 1967 dealer paperwork, the Corvette Order Copy, refurbishment records, and a clean California title in the owner’s name.
The car was repainted in Goodwood Green during the 2014 refurbishment, after which the front of the car was damaged in an accident in 2015 and subsequently repaired. The seller notes the retractable headlights operate slowly, and staples above the back window in the black soft top have separated from the frame.
The 15″ Rally wheels wear chrome trim rings and center caps and are mounted with 205/75 Michelin tires. The car features a fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
The cabin features two bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Amenities include a heater, a vertical push-button AM/FM radio, an analog clock, and lap belts.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 57k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 327ci L79 V8 is equipped with a single four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 350 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque. The engine was rebuilt in December 2014 and fitted with a COMP Cams camshaft.
The engine stamping is shown above. The HT suffix corresponds with a 350-horsepower, 327ci L79 V8 for use with a manual transmission.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The clutch was replaced in 2015.
Decoding the trim tag reveals the following information:
- Style 67 467 – 1967 Corvette convertible
- Body S6035 – St. Louis body number

- Paint 983AA – Goodwood Green paint
The statement of vehicle sale from Ed Rinke Chevrolet of Center Line, Michigan, in March 1967 will accompany the car along with other dealer paperwork and the Corvette Order Copy.
