This 2006 Chevrolet SSR is finished in Smokin’ Asphalt over Ebony leather and powered by a 6.0-liter V8 linked to a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional equipment includes the 3SS and 1SB Preferred Equipment Groups as well as a power-retractable hardtop, sport suspension, a carpeted cargo area, a trailer hitch, heated power-adjustable twin bucket seats, remote keyless entry, cruise control, air conditioning, Bose audio, and a factory CD player. The car was first registered in New York, and spent time in Georgia until 2023 when it was acquired by the seller who relocated it to Washington State. This SSR has 9k miles and is offered with a car cover, two sets of keys, manufacturer’s literature, SSR-branded storage bags, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Washington title in the seller’s name.

The SSR was built on a modified version of the GMT360 platform shared with the contemporary TrailBlazer SUV, and its styling was inspired by the Chevrolet Advance Design family of trucks. This example is finished in Smokin’ Asphalt with a color-matched hardshell tonneau cover and a power-retractable hardtop. Additional features include flush-mounted halogen headlights bisected by a satin-finished chevron bar as well as flush-mounted taillights, power-operated heated side mirrors, integrated body-color running boards, a trailer hitch, and dual polished exhaust tips. The seller notes that a ceramic coating was applied during their ownership.

The carpeted cargo area is accented with wood strips, and and is fitted with removable SSR-branded storage bags.

Chrome-finished 19″ and 20″ cast-aluminum wheels wear 255/45 and 295/40 Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 tires that show date codes from 2020. The SSR was equipped from the factory with a ZQ8 sport suspension featuring an independent front and five-link solid-axle rear setup with front and rear stabilizer bars. Stopping power is provided by red-painted brake calipers fitted over four-wheel ventilated discs.

The twin heated and power-adjustable high-back bucket seats are upholstered in Ebony leather, and satin chrome trim adorns the dash, center console, and door panels. Equipment includes a color-keyed waterfall console, air conditioning, cruise control, Bose audio, and a factory CD player.

The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames SSR-branded instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer along with gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. Additional auxiliary gauges for voltage, torque, and outside temperature are mounted below the center console. The odometer indicates 9k miles, approximately 200 of which were added by the seller.

The 6.0-liter LS2 V8 wears a body-color engine cover with SSR-branding and was factory rated at 400 horsepower with 400 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed approximately 450 miles ago in October 2022.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are available in the gallery below.

Manufacturer’s literature and two sets of keys are included in the sale.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in New York, Georgia, and Washington State.
