This 2002 Saab 9-3 Viggen convertible was first registered in New Hampshire as a lease vehicle and later spent time in Massachusetts before it was purchased by the seller in 2020 and relocated to Colorado. It is finished in Silver Metallic over Sand leather upholstery and is powered by a turbocharged 2.3-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a black convertible top, fog lights, a rear spoiler, 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels, heated power-adjustable front seats, a CD stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control. This 9-3 Viggen has 111k miles and is now offered with a clean Carfax report and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.

The 9-3 Viggen features a revised rear hatch spoiler, aerodynamic bumper covers, and rocker panel extensions when compared to the standard 9-3. This example is finished in Silver Metallic (268), and exterior equipment includes a power-retractable black convertible top, power-adjustable side mirrors, headlight wipers, and fog lights. The soft top and hood badge show wear, the passenger-side window trim is ripped, and the right fog light support bracket is broken. The seller notes that the bumpers were previously resprayed after being repaired or replaced, and scratches around the exterior are shown in photos below.

The 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 215/45 Falken Azenis tires showing date codes from 2021. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.

The heated power-adjustable front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in Sand leather. Cabin amenities include driver-seat position memory, a CD stereo, cruise control, automatic climate control, Viggen seatback logos, Viggen-branded door sill plates, and a Saab Information Display with Night Panel function. The driver’s seat outer bolsters and driver footwell carpet are worn, and the carpets are stained.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature, turbo boost pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 111k miles, approximately 12k of which were added under current ownership.

The turbocharged 2.3-liter inline-four was factory rated at 230 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The throttle body and bypass valve were replaced in the summer of 2023, and engine leaks are noted.

Power is routed to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The clutch was reportedly replaced under previous ownership at approximately 95k miles, and the seller notes that the exhaust is corroded.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
