This 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible was purchased out of California by the seller in 2017 after it had been repainted blue. The car is powered by a 390ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and features black vinyl upholstery, a black convertible soft top, chrome 15″ Torq Thrust-style wheels, power-assisted brakes with slotted and drilled front discs, power steering, dual exhaust, a four-barrel carburetor, and an Edelbrock intake manifold. This Galaxie 500 convertible is now offered with a car cover and a clean Massachusetts title in the seller’s name.

The car was repainted blue prior to the seller’s purchase and features a replacement black convertible soft top, a driver-side mirror, and chrome bumpers. Loose chrome trim is noted.

Chrome 15″ Torq Thrust-style wheels are mounted with 235/70 front and 275/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. A matching full-size spare is present in the trunk. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, with the front rotors being slotted and drilled. The car is equipped with power steering. The shocks and springs are said to have been replaced in 2018.

The split front and solid rear benches were recovered in black vinyl prior to the seller’s purchase, and the carpets were also replaced. Appointments include black seat belts, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and rear-side-panel-mounted speakers, and an aftermarket stereo with Bluetooth connectivity. The AM radio is not functioning.

Factory instrumentation consists of a sweeping 120-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge. A trio of aftermarket gauges has been added beneath the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 54k miles, approximately 1,500 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

Originally fitted with a two-barrel carburetor, the 390ci V8 has reportedly been fitted with a four-barrel unit, which sits atop an Edelbrock intake manifold.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a SelectShift Cruise-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. A dual exhaust system has been installed.
