This 1975 Mercedes-Benz 450SL was purchased new by its current owner, and it is powered by a 4.5-liter V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Finished in Gray Blue over blue leather upholstery, it is equipped with a blue soft top, a removable hardtop, 14″ Bundt alloy wheels, fog lights, a Clarion cassette stereo, electric windows, central locking, and air conditioning. Work in 2023 consisted of replacing many ignition components along with the fuel pump, drag link, tie-rod ends, steering damper, rear sway-bar links, and door and top seals. Now showing 76k miles, this R107 is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of its owner with a window sticker, service records, and a clean Texas title in the owner’s name.

The car was factory-finished in Gray Blue (906) and is equipped with a color-matched removable hardtop and a Dark Blue convertible soft top. Exterior details include fog lights, a power antenna, and chrome-accented bumpers and trim. The seller reports damage to the left-front fender circa 2004, and the car was repainted at that time. The door and hardtop seals were replaced in 2023.

Silver-finished 14″ Bundt alloy wheels were mounted with 205/70 Hankook Kinergy tires in 2020. The car was factory-equipped with power steering and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. The steering damper, drag link, and tie-rod ends were replaced in 2023 along with the rear sway-bar links.

The bucket seats are upholstered in blue leather, and the dashboard, center console, and door panels are trimmed to match. Additional appointments include an aftermarket Clarion AM/FM/cassette stereo, electric windows, central locking, and air conditioning.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 76k miles, all of which were added under current ownership.

The 4.5-liter V8 features Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 180 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque. The distributor cap and rotor, ignition points and wires, and spark plugs were replaced in 2023 along with the exhaust hangers and the fuel pump and hose.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission, and the shift bushings were replaced in 2023.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Kirkpatrick-Hughes Motor Company in Albuquerque, New Mexico, factory colors and equipment, and a total suggested retail price of $18,882.
