This 2002 BMW M3 convertible has remained registered in California through the seller’s September 2022 purchase, and it has 98k miles. It was specified in Titanium Silver Metallic over Grey Nappa leather, and it was optioned with the Cold Weather Package as well as a removable hardtop, xenon headlights, Park Distance Control, heated power-adjustable front sport seats, driver-seat memory settings, a BMW Business CD stereo, and a Harman Kardon sound system. It is powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six linked with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and features include a black soft top, 19″ M cross-spoke wheels, an Individual Racing Parts short throw shifter, cruise control, and automatic climate control. This E46 M3 is now offered with the owner’s manual, service records, and a clean California title.

The car is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic (354) and is fitted with a removable hardtop and a black convertible soft top as well as xenon headlights, headlight washers, fog lights, Park Distance Control, and quad exhaust outlets. The Carfax report notes damage in a November 2015 entry. There is an indentation in the driver’s door, and the paint on the front bumper cover shows signs of wear.

The 19″ M cross-spoke Style 163M wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza RE980 and Continental ContiSport tires. The car was factory equipped with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), and braking is provided by four-wheel ventilated discs.

The cabin features heated power-adjustable front sport seats upholstered in Grey Nappa leather, and Titan Shadow trim accents the dash and door panels. Interior amenities include an Individual Racing Parts short throw shifter, driver-seat memory settings, cruise control, a BMW Business CD stereo, Harman Kardon audio, and automatic climate control. The poly shift arm bushing was replaced in July 2019, and the shifter bushing was replaced in January 2020.

The multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel features M-color stitching and frames a 185-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a variable redline along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 98k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six was factory rated at 333 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. The seller notes that the rod bearing recall service was performed in 2020, and the double-VANOS system has been upgraded. The engine mounts were replaced in August 2019, the idler bearing and belt were replaced in January 2020, the camshaft position sensor was replaced in April 2020, the coolant expansion tank was replaced in April 2022, and the valve cover gaskets were reportedly replaced within the last year.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage. One open recall is noted.
