This 1966 MG Midget spent time in California and was placed in long-term storage in 1991 before the seller’s acquisition in 2021. Work under current ownership included cleaning the fuel tank, changing the fluids, replacing the water pump, thermostat, spark plugs, and clutch slave cylinder, installing a spin-on oil filter conversion, and overhauling the brakes. Finished in Old English White over red vinyl upholstery, the car is powered by a 1,098cc inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a black soft top, front disc brakes, 13″ wire-spoke wheels, and an AM/FM radio. This Midget is offered at no reserve with the owner’s manual, a car cover, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Old English White and features a black soft top, a fender-mounted driver mirror, and chrome bumpers. Creases are visible on the bodywork between the driver door and the left fender, and a close-up photo presented in the gallery depicts wear on the passenger side of the soft top.

The 13″ wire-spoke wheels are secured to the hubs via two-eared knock-off spinners and are mounted with older 155-series Semperit tires. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums, and the brake master cylinder, front brake calipers, front brake pads, rear wheel cylinders, and all four brake hoses were replaced under current ownership. Corrosion is visible on the wheels.

The bucket seats are trimmed in red vinyl with white piping, and interior appointments include a wooden shift knob, MG-branded floor mats, and an AM/FM radio. The turn signal switch and heater switch are inoperative and the horn functions intermittently.

The banjo-style steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 100-mph speedometer and a tachometer while a coolant temperature gauge is housed in the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 58k miles. The fuel-level gauge is inoperative.

The 1,098cc inline-four is equipped with twin SU carburetors. Work under current ownership included cleaning the fuel tank, repairing the radiator, replacing the water pump, thermostat, and spark plugs, and installing a spin-on oil filter conversion.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Service since 2021 consisted of replacing the clutch slave cylinder and changing the transmission and differential fluids.
