This 1974 Triumph TR6 was registered in California before it was purchased by the seller in 2022, and subsequent work included the installation of dual SU HS6 carburetors, K&N air filters, an alloy valve cover, and a replacement windshield gasket, dashboard pad, brake master cylinder, brake booster, and coolant hoses. Powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission, the car is finished in yellow over black vinyl upholstery. Additional equipment includes a black convertible top, 15″ Panasport wheels, yellow driving lights, Ansa rear resonators, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and a heater. This TR6 is now offered at no reserve with an owner’s manual, service literature, spare parts, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car was finished in Mimosa (64) from the factory, and the seller reports that damage to the right quarter panel and door was repaired under previous ownership before paintwork was completed. Exterior details consist of a black convertible top, yellow driving lights, a replacement windshield seal, a plastic air dam, and Union Jack quarter panel decals. The rubber bumper overriders have been removed, there are tears in the top over the rear bow, the lower portion of the right-front fender is rusted through, and additional photos of the exterior condition are presented in the gallery below. A replacement window regulator and a collection of replacement trim seals, and light gaskets are included in the sale.
The 15″ Panasport wheels feature black centers and are mounted with 195/75 Bridgestone Dueler H/T 682 tires. The brake master cylinder and booster were replaced under current ownership. One of the left-front wheel studs is missing, and the right steering rack boot is torn. A replacement wheel stud and lug nuts are included in the sale.
The seller states that the wood dashboard panel and the upper dash pad were replaced under current ownership. The bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl, and additional interior appointments include a locking glovebox, a heater, three-point seat belts, and Austin-Healey-branded rubber floor mats. There is a tear in the driver’s seat upholstery, and the finish on the center stack trim is damaged.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer while gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level are mounted in the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 9k miles, approximately 250 of which were added under current ownership. The tachometer is inaccurate, and the total mileage is unknown. The coolant temperature gauge was replaced under current ownership, according to the seller.
The 2.5-liter inline-six is said to have been fitted with a replacement camshaft under previous ownership, and work following the seller’s acquisition consisted of installing dual SU HS6 carburetors, K&N Air Filters, an alloy valve cover, and replacement coolant hoses.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The car has been fitted with aftermarket resonators and Ansa rear mufflers. An area of rust is noted at the right rear, and additional photos of the underside condition are viewable in the gallery.
An owner’s manual, service literature, and spare parts are included in the sale.
