This 1999 Chevrolet Camaro SS convertible has remained registered in California from new and now has 51k miles. The car is powered by a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission and is finished in black over Dark Gray leather upholstery. Features include a limited-slip differential, a black convertible soft top, 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels, Acceleration Slip Regulation, a rear spoiler, a hood scoop, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a cassette stereo, a Monsoon sound system, cruise control, and air conditioning. The seller purchased the car in 2023. This fourth-generation Camaro SS is offered with the owner’s manual and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in black and is equipped with a black convertible soft top, SS badges, a rear spoiler, and fog lights. A February 2018 entry on the Carfax report notes “minor damage” and that the vehicle was towed, though no further details are available. The front bumper, hood, and left fender have been repainted. The fuel cap was replaced in January 2024. Door dings and scratches are noted on the quarter panels, the front grille does not stay clipped in, and the front emblem is missing.
Silver-finished 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with a set of mismatched tires. Additional SS equipment included a performance suspension with a larger front stabilizer bar, revised shock valving, and stiffer springs and bushings than the standard Camaro, and the car is equipped with Acceleration Slip Regulation. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock ventilated disc brakes.
The seats are upholstered in Dark Gray leather and interior features include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a cassette stereo, CD player, a Monsoon sound system, cruise control, and air conditioning. The right window regulator was replaced in October 2023. The shifter boot cover is not properly attached to the center console.
The two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 155-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 51k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 was factory rated at 320 horsepower and 355 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. The battery was replaced in November 2023.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage report.
