This 1969 Ford Mustang is an H-code 351 convertible, and it was acquired by the current owner in 2005. Between 2008 and 2024 the carburetor was rebuilt, the brakes and suspension were serviced, the three-speed automatic transmission was resealed, and the engine was fitted with replacement bearings. The dark green convertible also has a black soft top, power steering, 14″ steel wheels, and an AM radio. This Mustang convertible is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with service records and a clean Nevada title in the owner’s name.
The car was repainted dark green under previous ownership and the left door was replaced, and as a result the warranty tag on the door does not match the car. The power-operated black soft top is shown in its raised position above, and the included cover is shown in the gallery.
The 14″ steel wheels wear machined hubcaps and 205/70R14 Metric Radial tires that were mounted in 2008. The power-assisted brakes were serviced the same year with a replacement master cylinder, booster, and wheel cylinders, and in 2013 the front suspension was overhauled. The car also has power steering.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl. The car has an AM radio and air conditioning, though the latter requires service. The driver’s seat upholstery is torn, and a replacement cover is included in the sale.
The steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 83k miles.
The car was delivered with an H-code 351 V8, and in 2014 the main bearings and rod bearings were replaced along with the rear main seal. The carburetor was rebuilt in 2008, and it was refreshed in 2024. The fuel filter was replaced at the same time. The seller notes oil drips.
