No Reserve: 28-Years-Owned 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL

This 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL was purchased by the current owner in California in July 1996. It is finished in Petrol Blue-Green Metallic over Creme Beige leather and is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a black soft top, a removable hardtop, silver-finished 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels, fog lights, an alarm system, electric windows, a Pioneer stereo with Bluetooth capability, cruise control, and automatic climate control. This R107 is now offered on dealer consignment at no reserve with the owner’s manual, service records, a damage-free Carfax report, and a California title.

The car is finished in Petrol Blue-Green Metallic (877) and features a color-matched removable hardtop and a black convertible soft top. Additional features include quad headlights, fog lights, a power antenna, and chrome-accented bumpers and trim. The shift linkage bushing was replaced in May 2024.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 170-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel economy, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 94k miles, approximately 58K of which were added under current ownership. The Carfax report lists a history of Exceed Mechanical Limits-branded titles issued in California, and total mileage is unknown.

The 5.5-liter V8 was factory rated at 227 horsepower and 279 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
