This 2005 Mercedes-Benz SL500 is a Brilliant Silver Metallic-finished example that has 58k miles and is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. The car has black leather upholstery, a power-folding hardtop, bi-xenon headlights with washers, 18″ Alphard alloy wheels, Parktronic, heated power-adjustable seats with position memory settings, a Bose sound system, a wind deflector, wood trim, Active Body Control (ABC) suspension, and COMAND with navigation. Purchased by the seller in 2024, this R230 is now offered at no reserve with the owner’s manual, partial service records, a Carfax report, and a clean Nevada title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic and has a power-folding convertible hardtop, bi-xenon headlights with washers, fog lights, dual exhaust outlets, fender air vents, and the AMG Styling Package, which added revised bodywork. “Functional damage” to the front is listed in a November 2010 entry of the Carfax report.

Bright 18″ Alphard alloy wheels are mounted with 255/40 front and 285/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The car features Active Body Control (ABC) suspension as well as an Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Automatic Slip Control (ASR). Curb damage is visible on one wheel, and work in April 2024 included replacement of the front lower control arms.

The heated power-adjustable seats feature position memory settings and are trimmed in black leather, while wood trim accents the cabin. Carpeted floor mats line the footwells, and additional appointments include dual-zone automatic climate control, a wind deflector, Parktronic, cruise control, a Bose sound system, a CD changer, and COMAND with navigation.

The wood- and leather-trimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 58k miles, approximately 2,500 of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.0-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. Work in preparation for the sale included replacing the crankshaft position sensor, battery, and spark plugs.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission. The transmission fluid and filter were replaced in April 2024. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage.
