This 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle convertible is finished in orange with a black convertible soft top over white upholstery and is powered by an air-cooled 1.6L flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 15″ chrome steel wheels, drum brakes, a strut tower brace, dual side-view mirrors, a cigarette lighter, and an Alpine CD stereo. The car was acquired in 2021 by the seller, who added approximately 200 of its 44k miles shown. This 1303 Super Beetle is now offered with the owner’s manual and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in orange with a black convertible soft top and is equipped with dual side-view mirrors, rear fender stone guards, polished beltline trim, a Karmann body tag affixed to the right front quarter panel, and chrome impact bumpers with rub strips.

Chrome 15″ steel wheels wear matching VW-stamped hubcaps and are mounted with 165-series Widetrack Radial tires. The car was factory equipped with a MacPherson strut and coil spring front suspension in place of the standard Beetle’s torsion bar setup. Stopping power is provided by drum brakes at all four corners.

The front trunk is fitted with a polished strut tower brace and houses the fuel tank, brake fluid reservoir, and a windshield washer system that is pressurized by the spare tire.

The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in white basketweave pattern upholstery and are joined by color-coordinated door panels, salt-and-pepper carpet, and black rubber floor lining. Interior elements include a lockable glove compartment, quarter vent windows, a two-speed fresh air blower fan, a cigarette lighter, and an Alpine CD stereo linked to speakers in the front kick panels.

The four-spoke steering wheel features a Wolfsburg crest center cap and fronts a 100-mph VDO speedometer with an inset fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 44k miles, approximately 200 of which have been added under current ownership.

The air-cooled 1.6L flat-four is fed by a single downdraft carburetor and sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle.
