This 1996 Toyota Celica GT convertible was purchased new by the current owner from Toyota of Newport in Rhode Island and was relocated to Florida in 2009. It is finished in Renaissance Red over patterned cloth upholstery. The car is powered by a 2.2-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, and equipment includes a black convertible soft top, 15″ five-spoke alloy wheels, fog lights, front bucket seats, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning. This Celica GT has 114k miles and is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner at no reserve with original purchase documents, service records, and a Florida title in the owner’s name.

The car is finished in Renaissance Red (3L2) and features a black convertible soft top, fog lights, and quad headlights. The bumper covers were repainted in 2018, the soft top was replaced in 2016, and the rear window was replaced in 2023. The majority of the provided photos were taken in May 2023.

This is a relist after the vehicle was previously sold on BaT in April 2024 and the winning bidder failed to follow through with their commitment to purchase. This was not due to any fault with the vehicle. The winner’s participation on BaT has been restricted and their buyer’s fee was not refunded.

The 15″ five-spoke alloy wheels were mounted with 205/55 Nitto NT450 Extreme Performance tires in 2019. Braking is handled by discs at each corner.

The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in gray patterned cloth, and interior equipment includes cruise control, air conditioning, and a tilting steering wheel. The cassette stereo does not work and the antenna and speakers require replacement.

Instrumentation consists of a 150-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 114k miles.

The 2.2-liter 5S-FE inline-four was factory rated at 130 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque. The oil was changed in March 2024, and the battery was replaced in 2023. The radiator was replaced in 2020, and the timing belt, water pump, cam seal, and crank seal were replaced at 104k miles in 2014.

Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The clutch was replaced in 2019.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.

The Florida title is a duplicate.
