This 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 cabriolet was acquired on BaT in April 2022, by the current owner who added 1k of its 62k miles shown. It is finished in Guards Red over Classic Grey Supple leather and powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a four-speed Tiptronic automatic transaxle. Equipment includes a black convertible soft top, 16″ Design 90 wheels, power-adjustable Comfort front seats, cruise control, air conditioning, a Blaupunkt cassette stereo, and power windows. This 964 C2 cabriolet is now offered on behalf of the current owner with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, the owner’s manual, service records, a tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.

The car is finished in Guards Red (G1) and features a speed-activated rear spoiler, integrated fog lights, and heated and power-adjustable side mirrors. Paint meter readings are provided in the gallery below. The soft top motor was repaired in March 2022.

Design 90 wheels measure 16″ in diameter and were mounted with 205/55 front and 225/55 rear Continental ExtremeContact DWS tires in May 2024. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated discs with ABS.

The power-adjustable front bucket seats are upholstered in Classic Grey Supple Leather and are complemented by a color-coordinated dash, center console, and door panels. Amenities include a Blaupunkt cassette stereo, power windows, cruise control, and air conditioning. The air-conditioning system was recharged and fitted with a replacement compressor and adapters in March 2022, and the driver-side window lifter switch was replaced at that time.

The leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer, a 180-mph speedometer, a Quartz analog clock, and gauges for oil level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 62k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added under current ownership.

The air-cooled 3.6L M64 flat-six was factory rated at 247 horsepower and 228 lb-ft of torque. The engine was resealed by CPR Classic Restoration of Fallbrook, California, in 2015.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed Tiptronic automatic transaxle.

The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity shows a production completion date of October 30, 1990, and lists factory equipment and colors.

The Carfax report is free of accidents and other reported damage. The car last passed a smog test for the state of California in April 2024.
